I am the proud owner and CEO of The Black Girl Doctor, a niche mental health practice with a social justice mission to protect the well-being of professional Black women. I founded the company in 2017 after recovering from my second stint of burnout and realizing that the "working twice as hard" mentality has a ceiling and requires the ultimate sacrifice to reach the highest levels– our joy. Our mission at The Black Girl Doctor is to make the workplace healthier for Black people so each of us can fulfill the divine calling on our lives. My specialties include treatment for depression, anxiety, grief, racial trauma, burnout, career and work stress, and concerns related to finding meaning and purpose for ambitious professionals.
